Augustina Jiminez, 99, passed away on October 18, 2022, in Brownwood, TX. Augustina Jiminez was born on March 23, 1923 in San Saba, TX, to Abigail and Elogia Coronado. Augustina Coronado married Leopoldo Jiminez on May 24, 1943 in San Saba, Texas. They were married for 49 years. The couple had 13 children, Leo, Luis, Marcello, Richard, Domingo, Modesto, Bully, Augustina, Lupe, Mary, Alice, Nan and Becky. Augustina enjoyed cooking tamales. She loved serving God. She liked her plants and wine. She looked forward to family gatherings and her birthday. She loved feeding people, they never left on an empty stomach. She enjoyed making blankets for everyone. Her favorite colors were blue, red, purple and lavender. She loved making tortillas. She loved playing dominos and Loteria. She helped raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved music and loved her dresses. She always said "Que dios te bendiga." Augustina is survived by her 6 sons; Leo, Luis, Richard and wife Ester, Domingo and wife Lucy, Modesto and wife Sylvia and her 6 daughters Augustina, Lupe, Mary and her husband Paul, Alice, Nan and her husband Celes, Becky. One sister; Janie. 55 Grandchildren; Richard, Idella, Edna, Joe Henry, Victor, Cindy, Manche, Elisa, Gilbert, Margarita, John Paul, Melissa, Monica, Richie, Juaquin, Jimmy, Sally, Lucy, Gustavo, Alex, Joanna, Mark, Cici, Marci, Jessica, Mickey, Johnny, Rocky, Krystal, Luis, Amanda, Gabriel, Serenity, Belinda, Cynthia, Elizabeth, Leo, Morgan, Chris, Joe, Alexjandra, Ana, Juan, Juana, Isaac, Jason, Jeremiah, Cadence, Daniel, Manuel, April, Jackie, Vanessa, Selleca and Jose. 119 Great-Grandchildren and 57 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Augustina is preceded in death by her husband Leopoldo, her parents, Abigail and Elogia 1 son Marcello, and relatives; Andrew, Ester, Isabel, Andrew Jr, Joe Ruben and Lucinda. Visitation will be Wednesday, at 5:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home of San Saba. The service for Ms. Augustina Jiminez will be held on Thursday, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home of San Saba.
