Frances Joy Disharoon

Mrs. Frances Disharoon, 83, of Lampasas, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Frances was born on October 13, 1942, in Eagle Pass, Texas. She made her home in Lampasas, where she became known for her kindness, generous heart, and dedication to serving others. Whether through her work, volunteer efforts, or time spent with family, Frances left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She enjoyed a distinguished career as a Tax Collector with the Internal Revenue Service, where she served with professionalism, integrity, and commitment. Following her retirement, Frances continued giving back to her community as a devoted volunteer at the Lampasas Public Library, where she enjoyed helping others and sharing her love of learning. On June 14, 1985, Frances married the love of her life, Millard Disharoon. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and enduring love, creating treasured memories over four decades of marriage. Frances was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished great-grandmother. Nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her family and celebrating their accomplishments and milestones. She is survived by her beloved husband, Millard Disharoon; her son, David Yarbrough of Humble, Texas; her daughters, Debra McMasters of Sacramento, California, and Diane Callaway of Lampasas, Texas; her grandchildren, Kyra Wells, Justin "Junior" McMasters, Tara Rania, and Brittany Ebeling -great grandchildren; Walton, Madison and Justin Junior and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory. Frances will be remembered for her warm smile, compassionate spirit, quiet strength, and unwavering love for those around her. Her legacy of kindness, service, and devotion to family will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. A Memorial Service celebrating Frances's life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Fulton Family Funeral Home Chapel. Though she has departed this earthly life, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
